Petfinder is a website of all rescue dogs .... amazing how many pure breeds are discarded at an alarming rate. PLEASE consider fostering for a rescue ... just one dog .... you can help make a HUGE difference for just one dog. You foster it and the rescue group helps you find it a great home by putting it on their website and screening homes. I've done it 30 times now. Please forward to everyone you know. These dogs TRULY need help especially in this economy. Thousands and thousands of Beautiful, friendly dogs are being put to sleep in shelters every MINUTE of every day because people are dumping them there left and right, Thank you.

We rescued Trixie (thanks to Tim Cunning) and I can't begin to tell you how much sheer joy and happiness she has brought to our home. She has also brought complete and unconditional love.
Not a bad combination of traits to bring into this home. You can do the same.
Somewhere, there is a pup or adult dog that is waiting for you. And needing you.
Get a move on.
