This Thunderbird crashed in Mountain Home, Idaho late last year at an air show. It was pilot error. The pilot's math was off. He had not allowed for the lighter density of air at mountain airport altitude. Watch the first film . . . then the second, from inside the cockpit shows how soon after ejection the plane crashed. That the pilot survived, though banged up, is amazing..
